How SACEP Kenya collects, uses and protects personal information, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019.
What we collect
Through this website we may collect:
- Your name, phone number and ward when you sign up for farmer alerts
- Your name, organisation, email and phone when you send an enquiry
- The message and details you choose to give us in any form
We do not collect payment details on this website, and we do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To send you the farmer alerts you asked for, by WhatsApp or SMS
- To respond to your enquiry by phone, WhatsApp or email
- To contact farmer groups about training, field days and market opportunities they registered interest in
We never sell your details or share them for marketing. Alert phone numbers are held by the SACEP Kenya team and used only for alert messages.
Photographs
We publish photographs of fieldwork only with the consent of the people shown. We do not publish identifiable images of children without written consent from a guardian or school.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 you may ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. To do any of these — including removal from the alerts list — contact us:
