SACEP Service Week: Communities in Action for People, Nature and Sustainable Livelihoods
Our Service Week returns — a week where communities lead tree growing, garden establishment, clean-ups and training across our working area.
SACEP Kenya will hold its Service Week under the theme "Communities in Action for People, Nature and Sustainable Livelihoods" — a concentrated week of community-led activity across our working area in Tharaka Nithi and Meru.
Planned activities include tree growing at community sites, kitchen garden establishment with vulnerable households, village clean-ups, and open training sessions on organic inputs and climate-smart practices.
Service Week is done with communities, not to them: local groups propose activities, SACEP Kenya supports with materials, facilitation and follow-up. Dates and the full schedule will be confirmed shortly on our events page.
Groups wishing to host an activity, and partners wishing to support, are welcome to get in touch.
